Often we do these questions, but we did attempts and error to learn what changes could generate a significant increase in e-commerce conversions rates.
What is AB Testing?
As the name suggests, the A / B testing is the mechanism used to create two versions of a page (version A and version B), which can be a home, a listing (category), or a product page. With the choice of the page, we have to rely on some metric to outline the champion. In the case of e-commerce, the most common metric is the sale.
To determine the version champion, we publish both versions simultaneously displaying them randomly. After a certain period and a certain number of conversions, select the winning page version.
